happy new year!
our new year was spent on our couch with our DVR. shortly before midnight, we both got emotional as we reflected over 2015. we had our wedding, moved in together in Pasadena and six months later moved to Vancouver, WA. throw in new jobs, and boom! just like that the wildest year of our lives. I mean, can you blame us for thinking that?
the decision to make the leap of faith and move was an easy one for us. the best part about Will and I is that we think alike. we both knew as soon as the opportunity came that this would be an adventure for us. and let me tell you, this has certainly been an adventure and the additional up's and down's we have had, has only gotten us closer.
we moved into our apartment in Vancouver end of October. in a blink of an eye, here we are in 2015. my mother-in-law and sister-in-law flew up for Thanksgiving and my aunt and brother came for Christmas. we are both very blessed individuals because of our family, and their outpouring love and support has made this so much easier.
below are some shots from our end-of-the-year outings in our new city.

we went on a hike Thanksgiving morning. us, LA folks, were freezing in the cold.
we cut our very first tree! this local tree farm made us so happy!
it snowed two days after Christmas. it was more of a snow/rain, but we were thrilled
